About these terms These terms apply when you order from The Rice Guy through thericeguy.com.pk, by phone or on WhatsApp. The Rice Guy is a family-run rice and pantry store at Adnan Market, G-11/2, Islamabad. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

Prices All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are shown on each product. We keep prices up to date, but if a price changes or was shown wrongly, we will tell you when we call to confirm your order, before anything is sent. You can then go ahead or cancel at no cost.

Placing an order When you place an order online, we receive your details and call you to confirm the order, the total and the delivery time. Your order is only accepted once we have confirmed it with you by phone. If we cannot reach you, or an item is out of stock, we will let you know and may cancel all or part of the order.

Delivery We deliver across Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Delivery is free in G-11. For other areas, the delivery charge is confirmed on the call before dispatch. Delivery times are agreed on the confirmation call. They are estimates, and occasionally weather, traffic or other things outside our control can cause delays.

Payment Payment is cash on delivery. Please have the exact amount ready if you can. We do not take card or online payments on the website.

Checking your order Please check your order when it arrives. If anything is missing, damaged or not what you ordered, tell us as soon as possible by phone or WhatsApp on 0300 5753897.

Returns and refunds If an item arrives damaged or is the wrong item, tell us within 2 days and we will replace it or refund you. Because our products are food, we cannot accept returns of opened items. See our Returns page for details.

Bulk and business orders Prices, quantities and delivery for bulk orders from restaurants, caterers, hotels and shops are agreed separately with each customer.

Product information Product photos and descriptions are a guide. Rice, achaar and other natural products can vary slightly in colour, size and taste from batch to batch. The cooking advice on our website and in The Rice Guide is general guidance from our own experience.

Changes to these terms We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies.
